With the rapid development in the area of electronic and computer engineering, computer based equipments not only being used industries but has become a part of our daily lives. Computer based equipments has been used and implemented for various purposes. Computer based machinery, water irrigation system, smart home system, mobile phone; tablet PC and gaming console are the examples of the products that require knowledge in computer system engineering.
Bachelor of Computer Engineering Technology (Computer System) with Honours integrates electronic engineering and computer science knowledge together. Student will be able to learn how to design, implement and integrate the software and hardware together to develop a computer based systems or machines.
PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

PROGRAM OUTCOME (PO)
Upon completion of this program, graduate should be able to:

Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and engineering specialisation principles to defined and applied engineering procedures, processes, systems or methodologies in the field of computer/industrial electronics/telecommunication engineering technology. |

Ability to solve broadly-defined engineering problems systematically to reach substantiated conclusions, using tools and techniques appropriate to computer/industrial electronics/telecommunication engineering technology. |
PO3 |
Ability to design solutions for broadly-defined engineering technology problems, and to design systems, components or processes to meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, as well as cultural, societal, environmental and sustainability concerns. |

CAREER PROSPECT
- The main profession for the graduate student of this course is to manufacture product related to computer such as LCD and plasma displays, disc drives, laser printers, scanners, portable computers, etc.
- To involve in product design and development such as giving technical ideas in manufacturing and production at multinational industry, universities and local authorities.
- To contribute skills and expertise in industry that involve computerized product operations and manufacturing process to controlled the output such as oil filtering industry, semiconductor, automotive and so on.
- To provide services and maintenance in support industry which are computer-based. This include communication industry, multimedia industry, hospital and transportation where as most of the equipment that has been used are computer aided.
- To involve in software and hardware programming field in various applications such as in multimedia technology, graphics design, microcontroller system and embedded system.
