|What is FTKEE?
Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE) was established on 1st July 2018 as part of University Technical Malaysia Melaka, in consistent with the objectives of the establishment of Technical Universities under the Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN) which aims to educate and train highly skilled manpower to contribute to the advanced industrial countries (world class industrial nation), and a catalyst for national strategies in achieving national higher income.
|Where is the campus of FTKEE?
FTKEE operates from UTeM’s Industry Campus which is located in industrial area at Ayer Keroh. FTKEE building can be recognized with its distinctive blue/green colour buiding.
|What is the advantages studying in UTeM?
FTKEE is a one of the leader in the teaching and learning approach for technical education especially in the field of engineering technology, which makes it different from the other universities.
|What types of academic programmes are offered at FTKEE?
Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE), UTeM currently offers 7 Bachelor’s Degree programmes, in four main areas of Engineering Technology; Electrical and Electronic & Computer.
|How many department are there at FTKEE UTeM ?
There are two departments at FTKEE. They comprise of Department of Electrical Engineering Technology (JTKE) and Department of Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology (JTKEK).
|What facilities are provided?
FTKEE aims to have a campus conducive to learning and living. Among the facilities provided are modern and fully-equipped laboratories, condusive lecture rooms, spacious seminar hall, dedicated lecture room for collaborative learning and students’ room. All the facilities provided are not only in relation to student capacity and needs but also teaching and learning requirements.
